Hi all,
I'm Mark and I have a band. I started it (the concept) as the Manic Optimists at Bates College, and am continuing it as the Rocktimists (solo right now). The basic concept is this: everybody has a voice and should be heard, and everybody can improve. I like to think that everyone can succeed and has a purpose. I also have an attitude that matches my blood type (B +). My life has been interesting lately, and that has generated some new songs and ideas. My musical inspirations: Purple Rain, Martin Sexton, BNL, Chain Smokers, X-Ambassadors, Johnny Cash, The Who, Bates Deansmen, Bates Manic Optimists(obviously), the Hartford Wailers . . . the list will grow.
